The Seaweed Health Foundation was set up by Seagreens Limited in 2009 to provide an independent forum for seaweed research and education.

It focuses on the benefits and uses of whole food seaweed throughout the food chain for human health and nutrition.

The Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit company limited by guarantee (the corporate form used by many charities) with offices in Edinburgh and London.
