In February 2012, Seagreens' longest established product, the wild seaweed Food Capsules, were voted 'Best VMS Product' by consumers and healthcare practitioners in CAM LIfestyle magazine, Britain's leading complimentary medicine magazine.

The previous year, Seagreens newest product The Mineral Salt - an organic seaweed and salt combination - was voted overall Winner in the CAM 'Best New Product' Awards. It was also was 'Highly Commended' in the London Free From Food Awards and voted 'Best Organic Product' by readers of Healthy Living magazine.

Seagreens unique production of human food quality seaweed in the Scottish Outer Hebrides received a Crown Estate Business Award in 2010 and in 2011 an Environmental Sustainability Award from the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency and Scottish Natural Heritage.

The independent Seaweed Health Foundation, set up by Seagreens with its industry and academic partners in 2010, has gained its first research award from the Alpro Foundation for a study in obesity.
