Raising the quality of seaweed for human consumption as a vital ingredient in our everyday food occupied the first 10 years (1998-2008) of Seagreens' long term business agenda.
The momentum will only be sustained if as consumers and healthcare practitioners, we understand the value of dietary seaweed and are prepared to invest in the foundation of our own health through a balanced everyday diet and the adoption of balance in every aspect of our daily lives.
Choosing responsibility and goodness over quick-fix consumerism, our customers are enabling us to develop our resources, do vital scientific research, improve the range and quality of our products, and return to them further innovation and we hope a broader platform for the foundation of health.
We completed the first phase of our seaweed harvesting joint venture in Scotland, and developed sales in America, Scandinavia and the Middle and Far East. Now almost at the end of our second decade - 2018 will be our 20th Anniversary - we are working with production partners elsewhere in the British Isles and the Nordic region, and have significantly developed our nutrition research and product quality.
Together with an 'international partnership' of Retail Partners, Distribution Partners, Network Partners and our customers Seagreens Certified Ingredients are now in some 70 food products around the world.
