Raising the quality of seaweed for human consumption as a vital ingredient in our everyday food occupied the first ten years (1998-2008) of Seagreens' long term business agenda. The momentum will only be sustained if as consumers, we understand the value of dietary seaweed and are prepared to invest in the foundation of our own health through a balanced everyday diet and the adoption of balance in every aspect of our daily lives. Choosing responsibility and goodness over quick-fix consumerism, our customers are enabling us to develop existing resources, do vital research, improve the range and quality of our products, and return to them further innovation and a broader platform for the foundation of health! In the first 3 years of our second decade we have completed the first phase of our new seaweed harvesting joint venture in Scotland, expanded into America, Scandinavia and the Middle East. We have completed our fifth year of scientific research with the Centre for Food Innovation at Sheffield and we have set up a not-for-profit research Foundation with offices in London and Edinburgh. Thank you for being a vital part of this great adventure! |
